Caregiver Assistance
For adult family members or other individuals who are informal providers of in-home care to older adults or grandparents caregiving for children under 18 years of age, MAS provides support services including:
- information to caregivers about available services
- assistance to caregivers in gaining access to services
- activities to assist caregivers in making decisions related to caregiving
- respite care to enable caregivers to be temporarily relieved from their caregiving responsibilities
- supplemental services to compliment the care provided by caregivers
- Resources including books and videos available to check out in our caregiver library
- monthly caregiver support group meeting held third Tuesday of each month from 4pm-5pm. Call or email senior@missoulaagingservices.org to be added to our support group mailing list
- Powerful Tools for Caregivers workshop offered, call for schedule and see attached informational form.

Support Group for the Family Caregiver
Do you have a friend or family member whom you give care to? Caregiving duties range from occasional errand-running and other supportive care to 24-hour, live-in support. If this is you, please join us in our conference room from 4pm - 5pm Every Third Tuesday

The Respite Program offers financial assistance and support in coordinating and hiring in-home assistance to provide the primary caregiver a well-deserved break.
