 adults age 60 years and over that live in Montana. In a 7-week period\, pa
 rticipants will learn exercises and strategies to build self-confidence\, 
 change behaviors and improve decision-making for safe\, independent living
 . The class will help participants identify why they fall and different wa
 ys to prevent falls. \n\nStepping On covers strength and balance exercises
 \, home safety suggestions\, the role vision plays in keeping balance\, me
 dication reviews\, and other related topics. Falling is not an inevitable 
 part of aging! Making practical lifestyle adjustments and attending Steppi
 ng On can reduce the risk. \n\nThe class is for anyone who:\n-Is age 60 ye
 ars or over and lives in Montana\n-Has had a fall in the past year or is f
 earful of falling\n-Does not have Alzheimer’s or Other Related Dementia\n-
 Is living independently in a home or apartment \n-Walks independently in t
 he home (may use a cane)\n-Does not rely solely on a walker or wheelchair 
 (may use a walker for outside mobility)\n\nClasses meet on seven Tuesdays\
 , June 1 through July 13 from 10:00 AM-12:00 PM\, MDT. Participate online 
 using Zoom. Space is limited. Pre-registration is required. An email confi
 rmation with the Zoom meeting ID\, password\, and instructions will be sen
 t to registered participants several days prior to the class starting date
 . Class materials are mailed to participants. \n\nThe class is Facilitated
  by Mary Thane\, PT\, GCS\, CEEAA at Community Medical Center. Elaine Carm
 ichael retired PT\, also joins the class as a Peer Leader Volunteer. \n\nS
