 o offer a free workshop as a part of our rolling series of Missoula Villag
 es launch events. Come make art then stay to enjoy refreshments and chat w
 ith Village founding volunteers and MAS staff about how the new neighbor-p
 owered network can help older Missoulians age well at home.\n\nAbout the w
 orkshop: \nLearn to create and print a fun collagraph plate using simple a
 nd recycled textural collage materials. Plenty of experimentation is invol
 ved\, and encouraged. Participants can create an edition of prints\, or va
 riety of singles. There are endless possibilities!\n\nAll materials and su
 pplies are included. Attendees are welcome to come with their own designs 
 and ideas but no preparation is necessary. The workshop is free\, but a su
 ggested donation for Open AIR is appreciated!\n\nRegistration is required 
 and will close 24 hours before the workshop begins.\n\nCancellation: If yo
 u are registered and cannot attend the workshop\, please let us know at su
 sie@openairmt.org so we can open the spot for another participant! \n\nAbo
 ut the Artist: \nBev is an Open AIR residency alum! She is a 4th-generatio
 n Montanan\, who lives and works in Missoula. She's been working as an art
  instructor and workshop facilitator for adults and children for over 35 y
 ears and is a studio artist whose work has been widely exhibited throughou
 t Montana and the wider region. Bev served as adjunct faculty in drawing a
 nd printmaking at University of Montana and at the former University of Gr
 eat Falls. She is a co-founder/ member of the SALTMINE Artists group in Mi
 ssoula. She earned a BA in Art from University of Idaho and her MFA in pri
 ntmaking from UM.
