 rogram designed to benefit those 60+ who would like to gain the tools and 
 confidence to reduce/avoid falls. People using walkers and wheelchairs are
  welcome! Participants should live independently and have the cognitive ab
 ility to build on concepts from week to week.  \n\nW﻿hat to expect:\n- Exe
 rcises to increase strength and balance and set goals for increased activi
 ty level\n- Reduce your risk of falls at home and in the community\n- Enga
 ge with others who share the same concerns\n\nA Matter of Balance begins o
 n Monday\, August 3\, 2026\, and continues for 8 Mondays through September
  28 (no class Labor Day September 7).  Class meets in person at the Missou
 la Public Library located at 455 E. Main St. in Missoula\, MT from 1-2:30 
 PM. Participants who complete at least 5 of the 8 sessions will receive a 
 graduation certificate. If you cannot attend at least 5 of the 8 classes\,
  please consider registering for the next program\, because class size is 
 capped at 12.\n\nRegistration is required. An email confirmation will be s
 ent prior to the session start date. For more information or help register
 ing\, contact Missoula Aging Services at (406) 728-7682. \n\nMissoula Agin
 g Services promotes the independence\, dignity and health of older adults 
 and those that care for them. We believe A Matter of Balance significantly
  impacts the quality of life of those who attend. The course has a value o
 f $80 per student which includes instruction.  Choosing a contribution tic
 ket of any amount (suggested $40) is greatly appreciated in assisting MAS 
 to continue to offer the course and promote our mission. No-cost ticket op
 tions are available for Montana residents in need.
