 dy Petersen and her super team of dedicated of dedicated volunteers for th
 is program designed to benefit those 60+ who would like to gain the tools 
 and confidence to reduce/avoid falls. People using walkers and wheelchairs
  are welcome! Participants should live independently and have the cognitiv
 e ability to build on concepts from week to week.  \n\nW﻿hat to expect:\n-
  Exercises to increase strength and balance and set goals for increased ac
 tivity level\n- Reduce your risk of falls at home and in the community\n- 
 Engage with others who share the same concerns\n\nA Matter of Balance begi
 ns on Thursday\, October 22\, 2026\, and continues for 8 Thursdays through
  December 17 (no class Thanksgiving Day\, November 26).  Class meets in pe
 rson at Greater Good Health located at 2230 North Reserve Street\, Suite 1
 10\, in Missoula\, MT from 1-2:30 PM. Participants who complete at least 5
  of the 8 sessions will receive a graduation certificate. If you cannot at
 tend at least 5 of the 8 classes\, please consider registering for the nex
 t program\, because class size is capped at 12.\n\nRegistration is require
 d. An email confirmation will be sent prior to the session start date. For
  more information or help registering\, contact Missoula Aging Services at
  (406) 728-7682. \n\nMissoula Aging Services promotes the independence\, d
 ignity and health of older adults and those that care for them. We believe
  A Matter of Balance significantly impacts the quality of life of those wh
 o attend. The course has a value of $80 per student which includes instruc
 tion.  Choosing a contribution ticket of any amount (suggested $40) is gre
 atly appreciated in assisting MAS to continue to offer the course and prom
 ote our mission. No-cost ticket options are available for Montana resident
 s in need.
