406 Financial Services

What is 406 Financial Services?

In order to meet the needs of veterans most appropriately, better implement Missoula Aging Services' Strategic Plan, and explore new revenue sources, the MAS Governing Board has supported staff in the creation of a separate Limited Liability Company (LLC), whose income benefits Missoula Aging Services (MAS) programs.

406 Financial Services, LLC was launched on January 1st, 2018. Its mission complements MAS by promoting the independence, dignity and health of older adults and those who care for them by providing fiduciary, financial and fiscal agent services to individuals, agencies and statewide aging networks.

What does 406 Financial Services do?
  • Serves as fiscal agent and provides accounting services for nonprofit organizations
  • Provides an employment and payroll service model, empowering people with long term care needs to stay in their own homes and employ caregivers of their choice within their individualized budget
  • Supports the Ravalli County Council on Aging by serving as their fiscal agent
  • Develops money management services that will help people manage their funds and protect their financial interests
