Meals on Wheels

What Does Meals on Wheels Offer?

Meals on Wheels is more than just a meal. Each delivery brings a smile, a safety check and a chance at an independent life.

Meals on Wheels provides a hot meal to homebound seniors and adults with disabilities who are residents of Missoula County. Meals are delivered Monday through Friday by volunteer drivers. Service area includes Missoula, Lolo, Clinton, Turah and Frenchtown.

The Meals on Wheels menu is prepared by the Providence Center of Missoula. You may request vegetarian meals, meals to meet your special diet (diabetic or other medical consideration such as food allergies), sandwich meals or frozen meals that may be reheated at home.

Participants receiving Meals on Wheels are asked to make a voluntary contribution as their income allows to help cover the cost of the program. SNAP payments are also accepted. Meals are available to those under age 60 who meet eligibility requirements.

Support Meals on Wheels

We take great pride in serving all those who are in need and request our help. In fact, each year we serve more than 95,000 meals in Missoula County. We are fortunate to not have a waiting list for the Meals on Wheels program, but that is only because of generous donors. Please consider making a donation today to help ensure no senior in our community goes hungry.
