Individual Retirement Account (IRA) gifts can be a powerful way to save while you give.

If you are age 70½ or older, you may be able to give directly from your IRA to Missoula Aging Services with a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD).

A QCD can keep otherwise taxable IRA funds out of your income and, once you are required to take distributions, may count toward your Required Minimum Distribution (RMD). Your gift helps older adults in Missoula County stay independent with services like Meals on Wheels, caregiver support, and connection to resources.

You can give up to $111,000 individually from your IRA through a Qualified Charitable Distribution.
