Community Table
It’s been said that food shared just seems to taste better than food eaten alone. When you share a meal, conversation, and laughter with friends or family, you enjoy measurable health benefits!
Missoula Aging Services offers unique opportunities to partake in community meals across Missoula County. Options through our Community Table program include meals at participating dining establishments in the Missoula area, as well as pop-up lunch opportunities that offer an educational component focused on local culture, health, nutrition, and more.
How to get started
We’ve been thrilled by the response to the Community Table program and the connections it’s building.
Due to extremely high demand, we are temporarily pausing new applications for City of Missoula residents while our administration, and budget, catch up. We anticipate reopening applications and encourage you to check back monthly for updates.
Please call (406) 728-7682 or stop by Missoula Aging Services at 337 Stephens Ave. with any questions. If you live in Seeley Lake, you are eligible to complete an intake to take part in community meals at Sela Senci; call MAS to enquire about applying and you may click on the Community Meal Intake link below to complete it in advance.
Cost
Contributions are encouraged for those who participate in Community Table. Suggested contribution statements are mailed monthly with guidelines for determining the contribution amount.
BETTER NUTRITION, MORE OPTIONS, GATHERING TO SHARE
Join the fun! Community meals are a great way to meet people and support better nutrition and healthier eating habits. Meet old friends and create new ones, share lunch with a loved one, catch up on the events of the day, or learn more about our community . . . these are all ways a community meal can enrich experience. Whether you live in Missoula, Lolo, Bonner, or Seeley Lake, options are available.
Daily Community Lunches at the Missoula Senior Center
You can attend lunch from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm Monday through Friday, at the Missoula Senior Center. Homestyle meals in a friendly setting make this lunch a mainstay for many residents.
Rural Community Lunches
