Join us for great presentations from the Department of Public Health and Human Services and Montana Senior Medicare Patrol. The first half of the training, “How to Spot a Crook,” will be presented by Richard Heitstuman of DPHHS and will focus on how to identify scams and financial exploitation, how to report it should it occur, and how to protect yourself.

The second half of the training, “Imposter Scams and Medicare Fraud,” will be presented by Statewide Senior Medicare Patrol Director Renee Labrie-Shanks and will focus on a particularly heinous scam, the imposter scam, and a sometimes overlooked form of financial exploitation, Medicare fraud. Handouts will be provided, as well as other resources from DPHHS and MAS.
